ITC conference grants

The COST Action CA16214 "PHAROS: The multi-messenger physics and
astrophysics of neutron stars" is opening a call for applications for
ITC conference grants for the period of 01/05/2020 - 30/09/2020.

ITC conference grants may support:

- The participation of Early Career Investigators and PHD students from
ITC countries to conferences NOT organised by the PHAROS action.
- The applicant must present a talk or poster with results relevant to
the action, and where COST is acknowledged.
- Support can be given for up to 160 euros per day, and a maximum of
2500 euros. Up to a maximum of 500 euros may be claimed for conference
fees.

-ITC countries are: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus,
Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia,
Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania,
Slovenia, Slovakia, Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Serbia and
Turkey.

How to apply:

At this time we are collecting pre-applications. The final application
will have to be made via e-COST and include a notice of acceptance of
you abstract, as well as the abstract itself.

To apply, please send a notification email to
pharos_applications@ice.csic.es with the following documents (in pdf
format):

1- A short description of your involvement in the PHAROS action
2- Details of the conference you plan to attend, with dates, and an
approximate budget.
3- A detailed Curriculum Vitae.
4- A draft of the abstract you plan to submit


We will collect applications until March 20th, 2020, and let you know
within a couple of weeks  if we can accept your request for funding.
